My first post of 2015... not that zero has been going on in the last few months, a significant amount has been going on actually thank God! and I am thankful but this was my experience the other day while shooting and it resonated with my spirit, maybe it will do the same for you...

It is funny how a child can remind you to let go of fear. I watched Jacob, soon to be 4 y.o. with such an intense glow in his eyes, look upon this great tree and attempt to climb it. He had no concern for the possibility he might hit his head or anything. meanwhile I was having a mini heart attack while asking his mom if it was indeed okay for him to do so lol. I was reminded in this moment how sometimes we magnify all of the bad things that can happen in a situation instead of the positive like how he could safely climb this tree and the joy he would have experienced doing it himself and reaching the top. We get caught up in all the things that could go wrong instead of focusing on the things that could go right. I am guilty of feeling that way far too often and its funny how God chooses to deliver you a message and reminds you to throw away your concerns, to have faith and just go for it!
